Problems and causes
Several major problems are the cause of the Darfur Genocide. This region, containing about 6 million people, lives with difficult situations. Since the 70s, a drought across the Sahel, which amplifies desertification. This kind of climate and environmental problems can create huge conflicts. Then, demographic problems and Territorials have installed in recent years. The population has doubled in 20 years and a competition for the geographical area has developed.
