Introduction
The conflict in Darfur, Sudan has captivated a significant amount of attention in the last few years. This conflict has caused an international response that overshadows others conflicts in Africa. This conflict, called by a lot of people as being genocide, started when two anti-governments groups began a revolt against the government in February 2003. This affected over 4 million people. It is one of the worst humanitarian crises. (Reeves, E. 2005)
This crisis involved a lot of political issues, as much has in Darfur in itself then by the intervention of international countries. A lot of countries responded differently to this crisis, bringing their own help to it. Darfur being a problematic country to enter, this international help was then much more difficult to bring then it appeared to be. This conflict is still present today and international governments are fighting to end this, trying to find solutions to it, which seem to be difficult to do.
